Hotel Bretagne is one of the original bathing hotels in Hornbaek, with a long history dating back to 1897. 

Originally built in 1897, the hotel initially served as a private clinic. Subsequently, it also became a summer residence, where the artists P.S. Krøyer and Holger Drachmann resided, to get away from the noise of the big city. In the period 1932-135 the place was converted into a guest house and later hotel, and has been so ever since.

The hotel underwent a total renovation from 2015 to 2017, and opened on April 1, 2017. We have chosen to design the hotel with respect to the history, but at the same time with all modern facilities.

Rooms

Our 23 rooms are all decorated in light colors, in a style that takes your mind back to the heyday of bathing hotels in the late 30's. All rooms have their own bathroom and toilet, as well as a TV, desk and many with small sofa corners.

All meeting rooms are equipped with the necessary AV equipment and free wireless internet throughout the hotel.

The hotel is a 5 min walk from Hornbæk station which makes it easy to get to and from the hotel by public transport either via Hillerød or Helsingør. Hornbæk is about 10 min drive from Helsingør motorway.
