If you really want to spoil yourself, Skjoldnæsholm Castle is the right place to go.
The castle is beautifully situated at a big lake, near Jystrup between Roskilde and Ringsted, 50 km from Copenhagen. The hotel has 40 individually designed rooms, each with its own bathroom, toilet and TV.
The park and surrounding woods are perfect for walks of any length.
After your long and demanding day our chef will serve a delicious 3-course dinner and you are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee in one of our cosy sitting areas.
The castles unique combination of centuries long history, ambience and modern conference facilities makes Skjoldenæsholm the perfect setting for your event. Lounges and rooms with history and atmosphere make your stay more interesting and varied. The house offers conference rooms in different sizes on all storries. On the upper floors there are conference and group rooms and a cosy open hall with visible ceiling beams. Naturally, all these rooms can be equipped with AV-facilities.

Standard rooms are cozy and charming, all located in the sidewings. All the standard double rooms and twin rooms include TV, work desk and a private bathroom.
Superior rooms
Superior rooms are suitable for those who need a little extra space. These spacious and tastefully decorated rooms feature a sitting area, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower.
Deluxe Rooms
Our Deluxe Rooms are very spacious and also furnished with the families original items.They have a sleeping area with a comfortable double bed and a sitting area. The rooms ar.e located in the middle section of the castle and provide a large bathroom with shower and hot tub
Guesthouse
To manors there are often stables, staff housing and administrative buildings around the main building itself. In one of the old houses "Vægterhuset" we have established rooms and apartments that can be used by a family or small groups. The living room can be used for meetings where you will not be disturbed and you have the opportunity to have your own daytime rhythm or cozy gatherings.
