Severin - A Conference Venue ideally positioned in the centre of Denmark
Are you looking for a great location for your next meeting, course, or conference? Then you've come to the right place here in Middelfart.
At Severin, we tailor your event and do everything we can to provide you exactly with what you need. You'll find Severin 150 meters from the water, situated on a hilltop with the forest right in the back of the building. Here, you can lean back, enjoy our unique panoramic view of the Little Belt and the two bridges – and feel safe to leave the rest to us.
Our bright and modern facilities are suitable for both large and small events, and our 11 group rooms are located at a reasonable distance from our plenary rooms. This way, you can customize your use of space to best suit your event.
In our lounge, you can challenge your colleagues to a game of pool, enjoy cold drinks, and lean back, and our various other break areas, you can socialize and enjoy the view.
Our kitchen takes great pride in creating food experiences that are green, tasty, and provide you with energy for your entire stay. We accommodate all dietary needs and minimize food waste as much as possible.
Severin is owned by COOP, and our employees maintain our long and proud history of the Cooperative School, which has historically been an important focal point for Severin, “Brugsbevægelsen”, and COOP's development.

We have meeting rooms for 2 to 327 participants and a team of professionals on hand to tailor your event and deliver everything you need - every time.

SUSTAINABILITY
At Severin, our focus is to work with sustainability and ESG, so we can provide full transparency about our climate footprint to our guests, suppliers, and partners.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goals also play an important part of our everyday life. Our work with ESG and sustainability has inspired us to start a wild gardens, and we encourage our 80,000 guests to do the same at home.
In our kitchen, we will increase our purchases from local producers over the next 5 years. Additionally, we are proud to offer our guests a large proportion of organic catering. Our breakfast is e.g. of up to 90% organic.
Severin is enriched with plenty of human value every day, and in addition to the “Severiners” you meet during your stay, we have 4 permanent internships, which we make available for Middelfart Jobcenter. Our mission is to help these people move forward in their clarification and get a job, either with us or with another employer.

TRAFFIC CONNECTIONS
You will find Severin just 100 meters from exit 58B of the motorway in Middelfart. It doesn’t get easier than that.
You’ll find frequent train connections to and from Middelfart city. The travel time from the train station to Severin is approximately 10 minutes by taxi.

Severin has 107 bright and renovated rooms with bathrooms.
The rooms overlook either the Little Belt, the forest, or the courtyard. All rooms are equipped with a TV, wireless internet, and of course, a comfortable bed to sleep in.
If you have more overnight guests than we have the capacity for, we will book accommodation for the remaining guests with our partners in Middelfart.

Severin has 19 plenary rooms and 11 group rooms.
The largest conference room can accommodate 300 people in cinema setting and 212 people in school table setting. In addition, you will find plenary rooms with space for 12-80 people. All rooms have good lighting and sound conditions as well as a well-functioning ventilation system. The group rooms can accommodate 6-12 people.
Our restaurant can accommodate 300 dining guests at once.

MEETING FACILITIES
All plenary rooms are equipped with standard AV equipment, including fixed projectors and PCs. There is wireless internet for free use. If you wish to stream your presentation to multiple participants, this can also be accommodated.
