With more than 30 years of experience, we support companies in finding venues for conferences, meetings, training sessions, parties, product launches, and other professional events.
We provide personal booking assistance, particularly for larger events or meetings with more than 20 participants, where additional guidance and inspiration are often needed.
DKBS was founded in 1990 by Danish meeting and conference venues. It began with a simple and practical idea. Two hotel directors realized they often had to decline inquiries — but rarely on the same dates. Instead of turning customers away, they started referring inquiries to each other. The collaboration worked and quickly proved valuable, both for customers and venues. This way of thinking still defines DKBS today. DKBS was established by venues and is still owned by them. We operate as a free association and currently represent more than 100 meeting and conference venues across Denmark.
DKBS is both a professional sparring partner for customers and a nationwide association of meeting and conference venues. We help customers find the right venue efficiently and at no cost, based on experience and solid professional judgement. At the same time, DKBS is a meaningful association for our members. We share knowledge, develop together, and strengthen one another through training, networking, and joint initiatives. Everything we do is guided by the ambition to create genuine value — for customers, for venues, and for the meeting industry as a whole.
