LEGOLAND® Hotel & Conference is a 5-star Conference Centre and 4-star hotel, suitable for both small and larger events, uniquely located close to Billund International Airport, Vejle railway station and the E45 motorway.With our unique workshops, we naturally use LEGO® brick's core values as a starting point. It's play, creativity, quality and development. Through the professional knowledge and involvement of the LEGO® brick, we bring the participants into play, creating space for knowledge sharing and creativity. We focus on the energy of the meeting room, the quality of the meeting content, the learning environment and the sharing of knowledge between the participants.We offer unique hotel and conference facilities: A dedicated, 5-star, multifunctional Conference Centre with 25 meeting rooms, some with interactive whiteboards, 2 first class auditoriums with capacity for 50 and 300 guests respectively and a 1,800 m2 multi-purpose hall for trade fairs, corporate events, conferences and dinner parties, seating up to 1,000 guests. For delegates, the LEGOLAND® Park is available as an inspiring location for meetings, breaks or even the main event. At LEGOLAND® Hotel and Conference, the total experience is unforgettable. As the day draws to a close, the evening begins with aperitifs as you gaze at sharks and seahorses in the underwater universe, Atlantis by SEA LIFE™, followed by a delicious dinner in our Panorama Restaurant or a gala dinner in the King's Castle in LEGOLAND®.LEGOLAND® Hotel and Conference has over 400 free parking spaces.

UN 17 World Goals & Corporate Social Responsibility

The UN's 17 World Goals for Sustainable Development and the consideration of our planet is a social responsibility we all - consumers as well as companies - must and should take on with a goal that we must all contribute to creating a more sustainable world.

We therefore review workflows, procedures and procurement so that we can get as close to our goal as possible - to contribute to a better world for future generations.

As part of our membership in DKBS, we have a special focus on the following world goals:


Goal 3:

We focus on healthy and nutritious food for both employees and guests according to dietary advice.

We offer our guests and employees free training opportunities

We have non-alcoholic alternatives for our guests

We have running routes in the immediate area for our guests

We offer our employees health insurance and have set up a working group, which focuses on both physical and mental health.


Goal 6:

We measure and monitor our water consumption

We offer our guests water with and without soda bottled here in the house, rather than transporting it in plastic bottles.

We primarily use eco-labeled cleaning products

As a part ofthe Merlin Entainments Group we have set up Merlin's SEA LIFE trust, which is a fund focusing on the marine environment.

SEA LIFE Trust is a registered charity that works globally to protect the world's oceans and the amazing marine life that lives in them.

Our vision is for a world where our garden is healthy, properly protected and full of diverse life.

We are fighting for the need for plastic-free oceans and an end to overexploitation of marine life through our global projects and campaigns as well as in our marine animal reserves.

Goal 7:

We measure and monitor our energy consumption

We have implemented Energy Management ISO 5001

We have charging stations for electric cars and our vans are electric cars

We have installed energy LED light sources in our premises where this is possible.

We give our guests the opportunity to choose to put less strain on the environment when changing linen and towels do not happen daily.


Goal 8:

We have an union agreement with all employees

We focus on maintaining a good working environment, and have an external agency to conduct employee satisfaction analyses.

We have a strong commitment to create new jobs in our region and have a special focus on hiring young people, and train them in creating magical experiences for our guests

All employees have personal development interviews at least twice a year.

We want to help lift the industry and offer apprenticeships.

We offer our employees continuing education and encourage our students to participate in the DM in skills.

Goal 12:

We primarily use eco-labeled cleaning products

We have waste plans for our waste and trash

We measure our food waste and are constantly trying to reduce this

We more often serve portioned menus, rather than buffets to reduce food waste

We serve filtered mail water tapped on-site, to minimize the environmental impact

We focus on reducing the use of plastic, and have, for example, abolished plastic straws in all our restaurants


Merlin’s Magic Wand

Merlin Entertainments Limited's special charity fund, Merlin's Magic Wand, provides fantastic experiences for seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children all over the world.

Merlin's Magic Wand gives these children the opportunity to have a good experience with their friends and family by providing tickets to one of our attractions and financial support in the form of travel expenses.

In addition, we have developed a number of projects that bring the magic out to the children who are too ill to visit us themselves, e.g. in the form of sensory rooms and specially adapted play areas at various hospitals and hospices.

Merlin's Magic Wand works directly with the children, families and organizations who will be able to enjoy an experience in one of our attractions.


GREEN KEY CERTIFIED

All of our hotels is green key certified. fter a long-term and targeted effort, LEGOLAND® Billund can look forward to all the park's accommodation being awarded the tourism's most widespread eco-label, Green Key. The Green Key certification gives the three accommodation establishments the opportunity to document a long-term and sustainable focus, and it will be the guests' guarantee of a great environmental effort that will ensure good experiences in a sustainable framework.

GETTING THERE
It's easy to get to Hotel LEGOLAND® and we are close to Billund International Airport.

By air
Billund International Airport is just 3 km from Hotel LEGOLAND®. There are direct flights from most of Europe. The rest of the world can be reached via a connection at Copenhagen.

By car
Close to the major European E45 motorway. 400 free parking spaces.

By train
Vejle station is nearby with a direct hourly service from Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg. There are bus connections from all the nearby stations stopping at Hotel LEGOLAND®.

By bus
All the surrounding cities have bus services that stop right outside Hotel LEGOLAND®

LEGOLAND® Hotel & Conference offers 223 ensuite bedrooms equipped with TV, minibar, telephone, iron, hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities.

Furthermore the brand new LEGOLAND Castle Hotel offers 142 fully LEGO themed guest rooms.
