Louisehøj
The chief physician's residence, which was a part of the Christmas seal sanatorium, has been through a careful restoration, which has opened for the option of private and exclusive meetings and events, so that you can focus on the meeting. At Louisehøj you have your own waiters and chefs and all meals are prepared with the best seasonal ingredients, on site. All meals and servings are flexible and adjusted to your wishes and desires.
When meeting on Louisehøj, everything is prepared for you – reserved parking right by the door and rooms closest by. Louisehøj is a unique pearl for the intimate meeting.
152 rooms: 32 single rooms, 103 double rooms, 10 hotel apartments and 7 designer suites.
The main part of our rooms are modernized in Scandinavian design – our design suites are solely with Danish design.
We have 12 meeting rooms suitable for every type of meeting — from large halls with high ceilings to smaller rooms offering beautiful views of Kolding Fjord.
Hotel Koldingfjord can accommodate everything from small meetings for 2 people to large conferences with up to 300 participants. In addition, we offer breakout rooms as well as various areas throughout the hotel that can be used for group work.
We also provide hybrid meetings with options for live streaming or allowing participants to join remotely if they are unable to attend in person but wish to take part in one or more sessions of your conference. This means you can significantly increase your number of attendees.

We also offer Hybrid Meetings — a modern combination of physical and virtual meetings tailored to meet the future’s demand for more flexible gatherings, where not all participants are physically present at Hotel Koldingfjord.

We review workflows, procedures and purchases so that we can get as close as possible to our goal – to contribute to a better world for future generations. All employees at the hotel have been trained in working with the Sustainable Development Goals. The staff has jointly adopted a number of actions that support the four Sustainable Development Goals, which we have a particular focus on:

ECOLOGY:
Organic is good for the environment and animal welfare. That’s why organic products are increasingly appearing on our menu. We offer organic coffee, and our house wines are organic.
Hotel Koldingfjord is affiliated with the Green Key eco-label. This means that at least 25% of our food and beverages are organic.
But we are not done yet. In the coming time, we will replace a number of conventionally grown products with organic products from local producers.
UN GLOBAL COMPACT:
Hotel Koldingfjord is one of very few Danish hotels to have joined the UN Global Compact Network Denmark.
The UN Global Compact’s mission is to mobilize a global movement of businesses to create a better world. This means that Hotel Koldingfjord has committed to working according to the network’s 10 principles, which focus on the environment, labor rights, human rights and anti-corruption.

THE GREEN KEY:
Hotel Koldingfjord is affiliated with the environmental label The Green Key, which sets a wide range of standards for the hotel’s environmental operations and impact on the surrounding community.
The hotel’s energy consumption is monitored month by month to ensure optimal utilization – and to reduce energy consumption where it does not affect the comfort of guests. Our focus on resources has meant that over a number of years we have been able to reduce the hotel’s consumption of electricity, water and heating measured per guest. This is good for the environment and for the hotel’s finances.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ELECTRICITY:
In the coming years, all electricity at Hotel Koldingfjord will be produced by Danish wind turbines. The green electricity costs a little more. In return, Energi Danmark guarantees that the electricity in the switches at the hotel is green. We think that is common sense.
