At Lundsgaard Estate, we strive to make thoughtful choices with respect for people, buildings and the surrounding landscape. We operate an organic farm, practise long-term forest management, heat the estate using a woodchip boiler, and prioritise reuse, waste sorting and local partnerships whenever possible.
At the same time, Lundsgaard is a cultural venue with strong local roots, supported by volunteers, community engagement and activities that contribute to life in the local area.
At Lundsgaard Gods, we see dining as an important part of the overall experience. That is why we offer more than traditional conference catering and are happy to help create culinary experiences that bring participants together around the table.
In addition to lunches, dinners and refreshments served in our meeting and event venues, we offer shared food experiences such as cooking workshops, collaborative cooking activities and events designed to strengthen teamwork and community.
The estate features kitchen facilities and a professional pizza oven, providing the setting for an engaging and memorable addition to your programme.
At Lundsgaard Gods, nature begins right outside the door. The estate is surrounded by 250 hectares of private woodland with walking trails, open spaces and varied landscapes that invite movement, reflection and shared experiences.
Participants can step away from the meeting room, take a walk in the forest, enjoy a walk-and-talk or incorporate the natural surroundings as an active part of the day’s programme.
The immediate access to woodland, beach and sea creates opportunities for recreation, outdoor activities and fresh perspectives without the need for transportation.
Lundsgaard Gods is within walking and cycling distance of Kerteminde, one of Funen’s most charming coastal towns, with cafés, restaurants, independent shops, a lively harbour and sandy beaches.
Guests can easily enjoy the town’s attractions while still retreating to the peace and tranquillity of the estate’s woodland surroundings.
Nearby attractions include the Johannes Larsen Museum, Fjord & Bælt, Kerteminde South Beach and the historic market town itself, known for its rich maritime heritage. Frequent bus connections to and from Odense are available throughout the day.
With a history spanning more than 700 years, Lundsgaard Gods is one of Funen’s historic manor estates. Its heritage is reflected in the buildings, the surrounding landscape and the many stories connected to the estate.
At the same time, Lundsgaard is a living estate where history and contemporary life meet. Today, the historic setting provides the backdrop for meetings, conferences, cultural events, art exhibitions and stays, while forestry, agriculture and other estate activities remain an active part of daily life.
Guests can also explore the estate’s history through guided tours, the Poet’s Trail featuring the life and work of author Agnes Henningsen, and stories of the estate’s development through generations.
At Lundsgaard Gods, the meeting day can be enhanced with activities that energise participants, strengthen relationships and create shared experiences.
We offer a wide range of activities, including community singing, yoga, mindfulness, guided nature experiences, art and cultural activities, dialogue sessions inspired by Nadja Pass’ Genopbyggerne (“The Rebuilders”), guided estate tours, as well as collaborative cooking experiences and cooking workshops.
We also work with a number of trusted external partners and are happy to help design a programme tailored to your objectives, participants and ambitions.
With woodland, beach, sea, culture and historic surroundings right outside the door, there are countless opportunities for both short breaks and more extensive team-building programmes.
At Lundsgaard Gods, a meeting does not have to follow the traditional script.
In addition to classic meeting facilities, we offer opportunities to incorporate people, stories and experiences that are deeply rooted in the estate itself. This may include conversations about modern agriculture, sustainable forestry and life on a working estate, meetings with artists and cultural figures, or stories drawn from a life in music and the arts.
The estate’s owners and collaborators are often happy to share perspectives that can inspire, challenge assumptions and shed new light on the themes of the day.
Combined with nature, culture, community singing, art experiences, dialogue sessions or activities in the woodland, these elements can help create an event that goes beyond the traditional meeting format and leaves participants with lasting impressions and new perspectives.
At Lundsgaard Gods, we provide the setting for celebrations, anniversaries, receptions, staff days and other events where shared experiences and meaningful connections take centre stage.
We offer flexible solutions that can combine dining, cultural experiences, activities, music and accommodation in one location. Events can be tailored to your organisation’s wishes and may include community singing, concerts, art experiences or activities in the surrounding natural landscape.
The historic setting, woodland surroundings and proximity to the sea create a distinctive atmosphere that is well suited to celebrations and social gatherings where people can connect and spend time together.
We are happy to help create an event tailored to your objectives, group size and preferences.
