DENMARK’S BEST VENUE – NOMINATED 2026
MBK Kursuslokaler is ranked no. 1 in the category “Conference, Course & Meeting Facilities” on Trustpilot with more than 600 excellent reviews. In addition, 837 meeting planners voted in the MyImage Venue 2026 analysis, conducted by MyResearch in collaboration with Danske Konferencecentre.
They named us the best conference center in Zealand.
We also achieved first place in Denmark in the categories:
Flexible and service-minded and Competitive pricing
At MBK, we offer a truly outstanding central location — right in the heart of Copenhagen. With only a 5-minute walk to Nørreport Station, 2 minutes to the King’s Garden, and 1 minute to Købmagergade, we create the perfect setting for your next course, meeting, or conference in a prime central location. If you arrive by car, we naturally offer parking spaces in the building (DKK 250 per day, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis).
Prepare to experience a conference center unlike any other. At MBK, we have embraced creative solutions, plenty of art, and playful interior design. Explore the many artworks during your breaks and enjoy the fact that no two rooms — not even the restrooms — are decorated alike.
For example, we do not have two identical coffee mugs. Every mug comes from a different destination: choose one based on where you have been or where you dream of going. Pick a mug and immerse yourself in memories or dreams for the rest of the day.
Summer Season Have you visited our amazing 400 m² terrace filled with flowers, plants, cozy corners, quirky details, and (most days) sunshine? Here you will find an incredible sense of calm, even in the middle of a busy city. Explore, relax your shoulders, and bring out your smile.

Choose MBK if you are looking for a Green Key-certified conference centre. We work purposefully with a range of concrete initiatives within environmental and social responsibility. These include, among other things, our Green Key certification, waste sorting, reduction of food waste and paper consumption, as well as support for selected social initiatives.
We incorporate environmental considerations into relevant decisions regarding operations, procurement and the development of our activities.
Some of our latest initiatives include:
Coffee machines using capsules are currently being phased out on all floors and replaced with machines using whole beans. The capsules are continuously collected for recycling, but we also wish to reduce the consumption of capsules and the associated packaging. In addition, the new machines require less descaling, and many people find that the coffee is of higher quality. Our afternoon chocolates have been replaced with cake from a local supplier. Among other things, this change reduces the use of individually packaged products, and the cakes are delivered on trays that are returned to and reused by the supplier. It is now possible to make a voluntary contribution to the Danish Climate Forest Fund (Klimaskovfonden) when booking meeting rooms or courses at MBK. According to Klimaskovfonden, a contribution of DKK 350 excl. VAT corresponds to the establishment of 29 m² of forest. The contribution is administered by Klimaskovfonden, and further information about the foundation’s work can be found on its website.Where we previously had only one charging station, we now have charging stations at all of our parking spaces. We sort our waste into 11 fractions and encourage both guests and employees to contribute to correct waste sorting. For this reason, waste sorting stations are placed visibly and conveniently throughout the building.
In addition, we work with the “social and humanitarian values” reflected in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. For many years, we have supported various NGOs by offering employees free places on our professional development courses. We currently collaborate with the following charitable and humanitarian organisations:
Danish Hospital Clowns (Danske Hospitalsklovne)
Doctors Without Borders (Læger uden Grænser)
Danish Red Cross (Røde Kors)
Danish Red Cross Youth (Ungdommens Røde Kors)
DanChurchAid (Folkekirkens Nødhjælp)
At MBK, we respect cultural differences and do not wish to cooperate with suppliers who discriminate against employees on the basis of gender, race, skin colour, religion, belief, political opinion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national, social or ethnic origin.
The above represents a selection of the initiatives and activities that MBK works with as part of its daily operations. You can read more about our work and initiatives on our website.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN THE HEART OF THE OLD TOWN
A guided city walk is an obvious activity option here in Copenhagen’s medieval city center.
We collaborate with a highly skilled historian who guides guests through the city with humor and great energy. Tours typically last 1½–2 hours and include quizzes along the way. If you think you already know Copenhagen well — wait until you have experienced a tour with Anders!
Enjoy lunch in the King’s Garden or Botanical Garden. We provide a delicious takeaway lunch package consisting of:
2 luxury sandwiches in assorted varieties, 1 mixed salad, 1 small snack and 1 small dessert Perfect for enjoying outdoors in the green surroundings.
Have a wonderful trip!
