Whether you are hosting a small meeting, a course, or a larger conference with many guests, we have the right rooms for you. Our meeting rooms, training facilities, and conference halls can accommodate groups ranging from 2 to 200 people. If you need additional meeting rooms or smaller breakout spaces, we have those as well — in total, we offer 10 meeting and conference rooms.
Not far from Middelfart — in the sweet spot between Jutland and Zealand — we offer overnight stays in peaceful, green surroundings.
At Fjelsted Skov, we have 74 double rooms with private bathrooms, 40” flat-screen TVs, and free 100 Mbps wireless internet. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and feature either a balcony or a terrace.

Fjelsted Skov is located by the old main road between Middelfart and Odense, just 3 minutes from the E20 highway— perfectly situated whether you’re hosting a conference or simply passing through Fyn.
At Fjelsted Skov Hotel & Conference, we have a continuous focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We dare to take responsibility for our surroundings, which is why we were nominated for the Climate Relay in Middelfart Municipality in 2021. This nomination was based on converting 3 hectares of farmland into forest to increase biodiversity in our area. Additionally, in 2021 we established a berry garden, fruit trees, a pond, and permanent wildlife corridors to support insect life.
We dare to collaborate with new local partners. As a result, our guests can enjoy local potatoes grown in Hønnerup, just a few kilometers from Fjelsted Skov, almost year-round. In 2022, we entered a new partnership with Bjarne from Vestergaarden in Fjelsted to supply local, pesticide-free vegetables.
The Green Key eco-label ensures hotels focus on concrete environmental requirements. One of our focus areas has been reducing water consumption. In all bathrooms, water flow for showerheads has been reduced from 19 liters per minute to 6 liters per minute, and for taps from 19 liters per minute to 3 liters per minute. Furthermore, we continuously work to reduce electricity and water consumption and minimize our climate impact.
Our purchasing policy aims to source high-quality raw materials and consumables with the shortest possible delivery time and transportation distance. We continuously seek local, sustainable alternatives to conventional products. For example, we use almost exclusively potatoes grown locally within a 15 km radius.
