The scenic surroundings of the hotel offer many possibilities, such as a walk-and-talk by the water, a boat trip, a horse-drawn carriage ride, or mountain biking in the Deer Park (Dyrehaven). We collaborate with skilled partners who can assist with planning and delivering a wide range of activities – from team-building sessions to inspirational talks.
Skovshoved Hotel offers 22 charmingly decorated rooms, many of which have views of the Øresund and Skovshoved Harbour. Each charming room features a private bathroom with organic toiletries, a desk, minibar, coffee/tea station, safety box, iron and ironing board, TV, and free Wi-Fi.
We offer meeting rooms for between 2 and 120 participants. In addition, our lounge or fireplace room can be used for breakout sessions.

All meeting rooms are equipped with AV equipment, ClickShare, and the option to order a video bar. They also include notepads, pens, a flipchart, and a whiteboard.

No matter your preferred mode of transportation, getting to Skovshoved Hotel is easy.
If you’re arriving by car, we offer free parking with space for around 25 cars, as well as two electric vehicle charging stations.
If you’re using public transport, bus line 23 stops right outside our main entrance with a direct route to the center of Copenhagen. The nearest S-train station is Ordrup Station (1.5 km), and regional trains stop at Klampenborg Station (2 km).

WITH THE HARBOUR AS A NEIGHBOUR
KDY Event Sailing, based in Skovshoved Harbour, offers sailing activities that can be part of your visit or serve as a unique meeting experience.
Whether it’s part of a longer program or a refreshing break from an intensive agenda, you have the opportunity to get out on the water.
It could be a relaxing coastal trip along the Øresund with a gourmet picnic basket from the hotel’s kitchen – or an intense regatta with up to 14 boats and between 2 and 102 participants.
For something truly unique, KDY Event Sailing also offers VIP sailing for small groups aboard the classic and beautiful 12-meter boats – an experience of a lifetime!
HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDE IN THE GREEN
Enjoy a relaxed and cozy outing for your team with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Deer Park (Dyrehaven). Pick-up from the hotel is included, with room for up to 10 people. The ride can be complemented with a picnic basket or warm drinks during the colder months.
PICNIC IN DYREHAVEN
In good weather, Skovshoved Hotel can organize a full-day meeting with lunch in Dyrehaven.
Ride to the park on the hotel’s bicycles (we have 10). We’ll meet at the Red Gate, where luxury picnic baskets and blankets are handed out.
The baskets include lunch, drinks by arrangement, coffee/tea, and cake.
The outing can also be arranged by horse-drawn carriage or car.
GIVE YOUR MEETING AN ENERGY BOOST
We collaborate with Running26, specialists in customized and tailored sports events that don’t necessarily require workout clothes.
It can include guided walking, running, cycling, or strength training sessions led by experienced instructors.
PHOTO ORIENTEERING
An orienteering race (on foot, by bike, or running) where participants navigate using photo clues to find checkpoints.
GPS RACE WITH QUIZ VIA APP
This activity challenges your teamwork and quick thinking. It involves a walk with quiz questions and tasks along the way – tailored to your specific event, such as supporting the theme or goals of a conference.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Take a guided mountain bike or cyclocross tour through Dyrehaven. An instructor will teach riding techniques, tips, and tricks – suitable for all skill levels.
ADVENTURE RACE
Designed for groups looking to test their collaboration, strength, and resilience. This challenging race requires both mental and physical effort from the participants.
ORIENTEERING
A walking, running, or cycling trip becomes a completely different experience when done as an orienteering race. Various skills come into play, and the group must collaborate and use their strengths to achieve the best result.
