Skanderborg Park has 71 exquisite guest bedrooms with a total of 112 beds, all extra long and extra wide. All rooms are newly furnished, comfortable with private en suite. In the room you have the opportunity to make a cup of coffee or tea, watch TV, connect to the wireless internet and the possibility to select from a Pillow Menu. Several rooms have beautiful views of the grounds, Skanderborg Lake or to our many cozy atrium gardens.
All our plenary and group rooms are flexible so that they can easily be adapted to your needs and wishes.

As a modern four star Conference Facility, all Meeting and Event rooms are equipped with the latest wireless touch panel screen to control the large screen projector, DVD/CD player, video, lighting and microphone systems. The conference room has a hearing loop installed and electronic voice amplification. Throughout the hotel there is free high-speed wireless internet connection and all our plenary and group rooms make great use of the natural daylight. We have a large number of laptops that can be used for teaching, so you only need bring a USB stick with your slides. In addition, instructors or teachers have access to a well-appointed room with PC and printers.

Skanderborg Park is just 25 km from Denmark’s second city, Aarhus.
We are 1 hour from Billund International Airport and close to the train station that connects you to Copenhagen and beyond. It’s just a 5 minute drive from the major European motorway, E45 and within easy reach of many of Denmarks most popular sights. There are 148 free parking spaces.
Our extensive grounds with both park, forest and lake, are perfect for a variety of teambuilding activities. If you have not already planned the agenda for your teambuilding day, then we can assist with a number of skilled partners.

Even though we have inviting meeting rooms with plenty of daylight, sometimes shaking up the environment can have a positive effect and, weather permitting, you can easily continue the days agenda on the large terrace and green lawns, or in our large gazebo, with inspiring views of the lake.
Golf – Above Par Facilities
Enjoy a fun day mixing with colleagues, customers or personnel groups using nature to network. Play a round on our lovely 6 hole, par 3, golf course, beautifully located in the grounds around the hotel. We provide golf equipment, something chilled to drink and a warm welcome at the 19th hole.
Barbecue evening on the terrace
In the Danish summer, when evenings are bright and balmy, our chefs fire up the grill on the terrace and offer a large barbecue for the benefit of guests. And, on the rare occasions it gets too chilly on the terrace, we always have cozy, small tables with parasols set up inside, making it easy to move indoors and continue the night.

With the surrounding woods and exquisite grounds, teambuilding and other activities often take place outside, allowing for more options and bigger, more physical activities. Skanderborg Park is surrounded by green areas and forests and the lake is within easy reach. Our latest initiative is the charming gazebo, which can house larger groups with the possibility of barbecue food, packed lunch or other good fare from our kitchen.?

Our extensive, well manicured grounds and large terrace, offer an ideal area to break the ice before guests go to their tables. They can enjoy a round on our 6 hole, par 3, golf course, play petanque or the ancient viking game of kongespil, all of which they can enjoy with a drink in hand. But if that sounds too energetic, a simple aperitif on the terrace is always a popular choice.
If you really want to make a mark, one of Denmarks biggest and most popular music festivals, SmukFest, set in a nearby beech tree forest, is one of our partners who will transform Skanderborg Park into your private festival.
?Skanderborg Park overlooks the impressive Skanderborg Lake and through paths in the forest, there is direct access to a large, green area on the lakeshore. It’s then a leisurely stroll in the fresh air to the nearby Sailing Club and harbour to explore the jetties and moored boats. But you can also just relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and the view of the lake from our large terrace.
?When your course or conference is over, fresh air, calmness and space for reflection are always good for the soul. With us, you can either relax with a walk or a game of golf in the grounds, or you can go for a walk in the adjacent forest and maybe continue down to Skanderborg Lake, slow down the pace and enjoy the breeze. If you fancy something more energetic, then jump into training clothes, grab a racquet from reception, and have some fun on our tennis court, or a run on the well marked trails through the woods surrounding the hotel.
